John 19:13-16 Pilate judges Christ and sentences Him to death
John 18:28-29 The Sanhedrin leads Christ to Pilate to sentence
Luke 23:2 They accuse Christ of perverting the nation, forbidding taxes, and saying He is Christ
Matt 27:12-14 Christ does not respond to the accusations
John 18:30 The Jews expect Pilate to just execute Him promptly rather than try Him
John 18:31-32 The Jews want the worst death sentence possible for Christ, the crucifixion
