Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Signs and Miracles

Notes:

John 20:30-31 → Signs were demonstrated and recorded so that we may believe in Jesus Christ.

Eph 6:10-14 → Standing against Satan is a demonstration of God’s power.

Matt 16:18-19 → God gave the authority to bind things on earth to demonstrate His power.

2 Cor. 4:3-5 → What we proclaim is not of ourselves but of Christ.

Rev. 12:10-11 → Satan is the accuser of the brethren.

Matt 16:18-19 →When His blood frees one from their sins, it also frees in Heaven, and the accuser is bound.

Luke 9:1-2 → Jesus gave the apostles authority over demons and sent them out to proclaim the Kingdom of God.

Acts 8:4-8 → Unclean spirits came out of many, demonstrating God’s power and authority over demons.

Acts 13:6 → We fight not just the flesh, but spirits.

Acts 19:11-20 → Signs and miracles ultimately lead to Jesus’ name being extolled.

Mark 9:38-41 → The Word of God is a dividing line.

I Cor. 12:3 → No one speaking in the Spirit can say that Jesus is accursed.
